YSI worked with Brand Central to develop their rebrand. As a part of their new look they wanted to create two mascot to help them communicate with their audience. This where I came in.
The two mascots needed to be recognisable and also accesible to the youth. An important factor in the development was that the character would feel authentic and relatable to a diverse group of young people, giving them a sense of ownership over these mascots.
The character were developed with careful cosideration and a collaborative process. The end result was two characters with personality, relatibility, high energy the perfect partners to the YSI messaging. To develop the visual language further I was also tasked with creating icons and design assets.
